This beer was given to me by a friend who is from Ashland. Thanks Matt! Sorry it has taken me so long to put the review up.

Oak-Aged Imperial Porter Brewed with Chocolate
8.5% ABV

Appearance:
Dark, DARK chocolate brown. No light penetrates. Thick head with a mix of medium and large bubbles. Heavy lacing.

Smell:
Bold, sweet. Chocolate and vanilla. Slight hint of alcohol.

Taste:
Super chocolatety...is that a word? Smooth with a bit of bitterness at the end. Almost milky in its smoothness. Slight alcohol warmth as it goes down and hits the stomach. Oaky finish.

Mouthfeel:
Full bodied, rich. Carbonation is there but light and doesn't hit until swallowed.

Overall:
A massive and bold chocolate porter that doesn't overwhelm with oakiness or roasted/toasted malts.

SUPERB!!!
